was born in cozy Arvika in the forest province of Värmland and grew up
on the beautiful island Tjörn of the Swedish west coast. High school
studies opened my eyes to the thrill of the natural sciences and were
soon followed by a year of working at a Science Center,
coupled with studies in Psychology and Environmental Studies at the
University of Gothenburg. Involvement in various youth clubs (drama,
writing, board-games etc) also characterizes my childhood.
In 2003 I moved to Uppsala to study Engineering. I took my Master’s degree in an interdisciplinary engineering program aimed at creating engineers with an understanding of complex technical systems as well as the human environment that surrounds those systems. I also attained a degree in Business Studies, in Uppsala as well as during a year studying abroad at the California Polytechnic State University. During my time as a university student I was also active in a range of social groups (a choir, student “spex”, a role-playing games club, etc). Perhaps my biggest commitment was for ”Värmlands nation”, a student organization with about 2.800 members and alumni that has been active in Uppsala since the year of 1660.
After graduation I moved to Stockholm and worked for some years at the defense company Saab AB. Currently I work as a consultant, helping engineering companies with reliability and supportability issues.
In my spare time I like to visit new countries and cultures, to exercise, and to get involved in interesting groups, clubs, and commitments.
